No Replacement For a Pneumatic, But ...
This gun will not take the place of a pneumatic. However, for that occassional time when you're not driving nails all day, a few hundred or less ... ideal.

Ample power, toenails easily (when you can fit it between, which is most of the time).

Hey, it's a cordless ... which makes it so darned convenient.

Check the expiration dates on the gas ... some vendors sell them well after their expiration.

Gas cartridges are not readily available, however, you can jury-rig a Paslode with the Bostitch canister top. Nails, around here are available everywhere, even at Home Dopey.

    Great Product
I was unsure at first about buying a cordless nailer. This thing is a beast, it has all the power you will need. the fire rate isn't too bad either, of course its not as fast as a compressor nailer with a bump trigger. This nailer gets the job done for smaller projects especially when you are moving around quite a bit.

    Does the hob
Works for doing small framing jobs but I wouldn't suggest for everyday use. It does misfire occasionally, but I wouldn't say any more than a paslode. It does feel heavier than a paslode also but still manageable.

    Good Framing Nailer. Powerful.
I picked up some fuel and a box of nails and was ready to go. I thought loading the fuel might be tricky, but it was rather easy. That goes for the nails too. The first nail drove too deep so adjustment was needed, and I'll have to say that was quick and easy too. The one complaint is the manual. Pictorials are way to small to fully visualize what the instruction are trying to convey. Larger format for the manual would be nice.

    Very Good Nailer
This was the first time using a nail gun and I found it was very easy to use. Nailing at an angle took little getting use to but this would not stop me from highly recommending it!!! It definately made my project of building a new room in my basement extremely easier.

    Good cordless nailer
Originally purchased their regular air nailer to frame out 2500 sq ft basement. During the first few walls the compressor and hose kept getting in the way. I went to CPO and was able to get the this model instead for $15 dollars more. It same power as the regular air nailer and is much more convenient. I have used it to shoot about 500 nails with no miss fires. The convenience was worth the extra money. However there are some small down sides. The first is that the fuel cells are typically not available at your local hardware stores. They are available at Amazon fairly inexpensive ($16 for 2). Each cell is good for about 1200 nails. Make sure you order them in advance of your project. Other small issue was I find it difficult to crows foot in nails. Not too big of an issue. Last item is you get a faint smell butane from the fuel cells.

I have found the portability factor so good that I prefer this to the regular model and would highly recommend it for framing project around your home.

    Good product for Home Use
Good product for routine home use and light construction. Easy to set up and operate. Initial battery charge may take longer than expected, but works fine after that. Not as fast as an air powered nail gun, but portability overcomes the recovery period. I took away one Star for shipping. The unit was not properly packaged and the box was damaged. But, the heavy duty carrying case provided protection for the nail gun.

    New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
    • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
    • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
    • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
