        Comments about 18 Gauge Oil-Free Engineered Flooring Stapler:

        Used this product right out of the box, little adjustment on the footplate. No malfunctions. The occasional dislodging of a rubber tip keeps it from scoring 5 stars.

              Comments about 18 Gauge Oil-Free Engineered Flooring Stapler:

              I am a contractor, and when a customer ordered 800 sq ft of flooring, which had to be installed in 4 different weeks, I determined it was best to purchase one instead of renting. Works well. After every hundred feet or so, you will find the depth adjustment needs to be re-done as it finds its way loose every so often. Maybe 20 blank fires in 3000 staples, pretty decent. I own this exact stapler without the head attachment, pretty weak on Bostich's part they don't sell it individually, nothing like owning two of the exact same guns. Nice case. Some reviewers claim the tips kept falling off, they addressed this by including an extra 20 or so tips. 500 sq ft. in, I haven't had one fall off, I suppose they are not setting the gun against the wood gently, causing the tips to snap off. It comes with a plastic block used for tapping flooring together. This block is worth its weight in gold, and will be used in conjunction with my other flooring staplers. Overall a good purchase.

              New Vs. Reconditioned

              Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.

              • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
              • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
              • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee;
                New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
