I spent the extra buck for this. I can see when it latches and unlatches. Great design! Safer for me to use and handle as an old guy, in-frequent user. The other brand of wheeled saw table I have is unsafe to open and close. The Bosch table is built like a tank. Follow the Bosch table assembly instructions and pictures closely. The factory flipped the right side bar. I caught it and put it on correctly.

Excellent table for my Bosch Compound Bevel Miter Saw. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to use. Nuts and bolts came in seperate packages that had been seperated according to the assembly instructions' steps. Put it together myself in 45 minutes. Well packed box. Table could be lighter but, it's design is definitely solid. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment.

The cost of this miter saw stand is high, but Bosch delivers with an incredible design. I'm fascinated by the details of its design & precise manufacturing. Here's what a message in the box says "Sorry if there are a few scratches but we put every unit together before we send it to you". Bosch committed to perfection with this unit

Total saw and stand weight is excess of 120lbs.

        • Q:

How does this compare to the DeWalt DW723 Miter Saw Stand as far as support extension length and weight capacity? It looks like the extension length for "supported wood" are the same and the DeWalt supports up to 400 lbs - what is the support "weight" capacity of the Bosch?
