I have been using dewalt orbital sanders for many years now and I can't understand why they still make the same good sander with a bad dust filter.
This Bosch is real good but lack power.. Best is the dust collection filter.
I am a cabinet maker and I judge this tool to be worthy of my hard earned dollars.
Great little sander, bought mine as a reman, the only way to tell is from the R stamped on the unit, works just as planned .
Random orbital sanders like this have been out for quite a few years now, much more refined and user friendly than the first one I bought. Its hard to really differentiate between them. This one is a nice sander, definitely one of the better. My only complaint is the tiny switch. Its easy to reach, but has to be depressed so deeply to turn off that I have difficuly. Its easier to use both hands to turn it off than to try to manipulate it one handed. Other than that... works great.

Q:How many holes does it have for the sanding disks? Do you have to buy Bosch sanding disks?
A:There are eight holes. The sander takes PSA backed sanding disc. No, you do not need to just purchase Bosch discs. Just as long as the discs have 8 holes and are PSA, they can be used.
Q:How much does it weigh?
A:The sander weights 5 pounds.
