Comments about 12V Max Cordless Pocket Reciprocating Saw (Tool Only):
Not to be mistaken for a power hacksaw nor used to cut 1/4" steel plate, but plenty powerful for light duty plastic and metal pipe cutting as well as light pruning in the garden. Only 2 blades supplied, one for metals and one, general use, but others are readily available. Uses same battery and charger as the angle drills and other compact Bosch tools.

Comments about 12V Max Cordless Pocket Reciprocating Saw (Tool Only):
I ordered this recip saw along with a two-pack of the Bosch "pocket drill/driver" and the impact driver (the factory reconditioned set) and the $30. set of Bosch spade bits. The first week I had this tool I used it in the field to trim some tree limbs, then used it in the house. It performs quite well, but you may wish to have a longer blade on hand for those BIG limbs.

Comments about 12V Max Cordless Pocket Reciprocating Saw (Tool Only):
I bought this to replace another 19.6 volt reciprocating saw that was awkward to handle, noisy, and vibrated to much.
For bigger cutting jobs like posts and beams I have a corded model which can run more continuously and the two make a great team.

Comments about 12V Max Cordless Pocket Reciprocating Saw (Tool Only):
This saw has PLENTY of power. I am a master electrician and have the Bosch 36V tools. I was very skeptical of the 12V tools but am planning on adding to this set. This is small, light and practical. You won't be sorry. I made 20 cuts on a piece of 1/2 emt for a test. I thought I would send it back if it failed. Not so, it shined with power to spare. I will say the saw must be at full speed before trying to make the cut. Do not have the blade on the conduit then pull the trigger. It will not work.

Comments about 12V Max Cordless Pocket Reciprocating Saw (Tool Only):
I have been in the trades over 20 years now and used to own the 9.6V Makita system including the sawsall. What suprises me is the lack of power both the Bosch and Milwaukee 12V sawsalls have compared with the old 9.6V Makita. I am a big fan of both Bosch and Milwaukee 12V impact drill/driver.
