I mainly bought this item to get two new batteries for my 12V drill and impact, and because I also had one of those moments staring at a tight space without all my tools and gadgets and said I need to buy "that" tool to solve this. My other 12V drills are awesome and this one is pathetic. I will probably use this drill at some point, but it's one of those tools that collects dust until its destiny comes knocking.
There are two versions of this drill: 1 is much 2x faster and has decent torque (the one I should have ordered) and this one is what it says it is, a "driver" and not a drill. I bought some Daredevil spade bits with this, expecting it to at least drill (slowly) a 1-in hole, but it just stopped immediately when the teeth met the 2x4. You're better off buying a flexible driver attachment for a mere $10 and call it a day, plus you can use the flexible driver with a impact drill(which probably isn't recommended but I did for 2 years before the thing gave out).
Bottom line PROs: If you need a battery powered screwdriver to get into tight spaces, this is a descent choice. It will drill OK with twist bit too.
Bottom line CONs: Weak, under-powered, clutch is a useless feature, unless your tightening bells and whistles on a laptop, which at that point you'd be using a manual screwdriver to be safer. Its bulky compared to my PS21 Pocket Driver (which has a head length by a mere 1.5 more inches), so this thing is pretty much useless until that moment of destiny.

This ia an excellent tool for lots of tasks I mainly use it to assemble and dissasemble computers but I also put it to use around the house. I'm very haapy I found it and the people at CPO Bosch make the experience even greater. Thanks Guys

Used thus far for electrical work and as an all around drill/driver. My only difficulty thus far was that it was difficult getting it to gradually speed up and not jump to full speed ahead.....of course that may have had something to do with drilling and putting in screws for reinforcement upside down into the joists through a small hole in the floor. My thumb had to be on the trigger, I have had much more success with my fingers. It did allow me to do the jobs I was unable to do with my regular compact drill. Liked it so well my mom bought one for my dad for Valentine's!

I own two of these one in the truck one in the garage. battery last so long that I am surprised when it goes dead. Bought a ryobi drill bits 1/4 drive same for paddle blades. Also have a 1/4 drive drill chuck. Most versatile tool I have ever owned. could only be better if they made a impact version. I use it everyday as a contractor

This drill really fits in tight spaces, and the batteries charge fast. I'd give it five stars if it had a conventional chuck instead of the hex bit chuck, so it could use regular drill bits. The angle changing feature is really nice, though.

This driver has an adjustable head for getting into tight spaces that a regular drill/driver can't fit. Light enough for repetitive overhead work.

I bought the previous 10v model 2 years ago for myself - 100% satisfied. Bought this 12v model for my son - it is even better. Real life ssaver for arthritic hands. The pivoting head allows this tool to be used where others can not fit. Battery life is fantastic!
