Comments about Bosch Oscillating Tool Dust Attachment for MX25E and PS50:
I have had a PS50-2BL 12v max cordless multi-x oscillating tool for some time and use it a lot. Initially I used it for cutting holes for wall outlets, taking up old tile, and various other cutting jobs, but lately I have been using the sanding attachment a lot. It kicks out what seems like a small amount of sanding dust, since it is fine grained, but it is hard to clean up. I finally spent the money for this dust collection adapter. It goes on easily, and attaches to the standard 1-1/4 inch hose on my big Ridgid shop vac (the hose from the car cleaning kit). It significantly reduces the amount of dust the tool scatters. It comes apart into a bunch of smaller pieces, all of which can be stored in the L-Boxx that came with the tool. The plastic insert has some extra compartments, and I figured out how to get all the parts in those spaces. In order to do this you can't leave any attachments on the tool itself. It is easy to slip the vacuum hose out of the attachment and use it with another tool (like my small miter saw) and then back again.
