Comments about SDS-plus 3/4 in. D 16 in. Hammer Carbide Bit:

the drill is high quality, & a breeze to use. By the way I use it to break-up bolders from 300 lbs. to over 2 tons. The sds plus drill bits do the job, but they do not last long enough. This could be due to the nature of the Basalt rock.
I have have had well drillers tell me that they do not like to drill through Basalt.I would definetly purchase the Bosch drill & their bits again.
