Comments about 10-in Portable Jobsite Table Saw:
Nearly everything about this saw is absolutely awesome. The 5,000 RPM motor cuts everything like butter. The adjustments on the saw are smooth and accurate. Oh, and it is easy to carry and move around.
Problem 1: the supplied miter gauge is small, cheap, and has way to much play in the miter slot, so if you're looking for accuracy, spend the money on a proper miter gauge. The supplied on is convenient though.
Problem 2: Small dado capacity.
Problem 3: This throat plate style disallows you to make a zero clearance plate without a huge investment of time and money. Most people can do without them, but I find it annoying.
Problem 4: The are no extensions for this saw to increase its capacity. I've rigged a detachable left wing on the saw to support longer material while using my INCRA miter gauge. As far as rip width, some ingenuity and spare parts from Bosch should get you some length when needed, but I have yet to look for the parts although I know what needs to be done.
Problem 5: The cord does not stay in place on the saw when put away properly, posing a safety problem aside from being annoying while carrying the saw around. I will be cutting the cord off and placing a non-corded plug strip in its place to make life easier.
Despite its design and functionality flaws, its a wonderful saw which I will have for years to come. I hope Bosch starts giving products more thorough thought before putting them on the market.

this table saw is very easy to use. My only complaint is the fence. Once you set it on the mark either with your tape or the one on the fence and then you go to lock it down it moves about a 1/16" to 1/8" off the mark. then you have to readjust and try again. usually after 2 times of doing this then it gets almost on the mark. not a good design

Sold a Dewalt for this saw, wasn't sure I would like the fence but it does stay in alignment and offers more versitility because it is removable. I'm sure it has it's limitations like all small portable table saws but light weight is a plus in a small shop. Good riving knife and blade guard setup- very easy and quick to remove.
