Comments about 16-Gauge 2-1/2 in. Straight Finish Nailer:

I began using the nailer right away and found that everything worked exceptionally well as long as I had enough air pressure. It uses very little air so you don't need to wait for the compressor to fill.

Comments about 16-Gauge 2-1/2 in. Straight Finish Nailer:

Most of my power tools are Bosch. Love 'em all. Not sure about this yet. It is made of plastic but I realize that everything is now-a-days and is lightweight which I guess is a good thing. Read some reviews that said it won't penetrate hard woods and on first use it did not. It will penetrate hardwoods but you need to hold it very firmly against the wood otherwise the head will stick up a little I think because of the lightweight & kickback. Press firmly and it will drive flush at 125 psi.

      Nice finish nailer

Comments about Bosch 16-Gauge 2-1/2 in. Straight Finish Nailer:

This is the third size of nailer I have from Bosch. It worked well on the tasks I put it through. It is fairly light weight and easy to handle. Great features, as I have found in all their nailers I own. My main concern may be overcome with more time with the tool but I found the loading and unloading of nails to be somewhat clumsy. It could use a belt clip also.

Comments about 16-Gauge 2-1/2 in. Straight Finish Nailer:

The first nailer they sent me would not drive a nail flush, even in soft woods. They replaced it quickly and the return could not have been easier, kudos for that. The replacement is better, but I need to remove the no-mar guard to get below flush sets to the nails.

Comments about 16-Gauge 2-1/2 in. Straight Finish Nailer:

I was excited about the possibilities of these new nailers so I bought both the 18 and 16 gauge nailers. Neither is capable of sinking nails completely. I tried increasing the air pressure to nearly 120 psi, tried different compressors and even switched hoses. Thanks goodness I tested them before using them on finished work! I am so disappointed with both purchases and can't believe unproven and unreliable technology is being released. Frustrated to have to send both back. Buy another brand.

              New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
              • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
              • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
              • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
