  • Q:

how do you change the bulb? What is the replacement bulb?

Or what else might be the problem for the flashlight not working (did change the batteries.

    • A:

To change the bulb, unscrew the plastic casing; note how it's two pieces of plastic together - the top one screws off. The bulb can be replaced that way. The replacement bulb seems to be any 12V flashlight bulb, though it doesn't appear that Bosch specifically makes replacements.
It seems as if the main problem with this flashlight is that a hot bulb is easily dislodged when the flashlight is dropped from a height of over two feet, and its filament breaks upon impact. Some reviewers have stated that they have to replace the bulb three times a week due to various accidents. If your use is going to be heavy, a suggestion would be to purchase a different model of flashlight, as continuously buying light bulbs will add up to more than the cost of a replacement.
