Professional-looking projects !
How many times have you tried to drill a large hole with a spade bit and have the wood splinter, ruining the appearance of the project? These spade bits are designed to prevent this from happening. The self-feeding screw tips make sure the bit doesn't travel away from the starting point. The spurs help to reduce the possibility of a blowout. A lot of thought has gone into the features of these bits. Well done, Bosch!

Nice, but not stubby
As of now, CPO shows this product as "Stubby" bits, but they are actually the normal 6" length. Bosch does not consider these stubby. Bosch has another set available that they DO call stubby, which has 4" length bits. For what they are, they're a great product, just not accurately described.

Great set of bits, needs a case.
I have only just bought this but set so I can't comment on long term durability but they cut fast and clean. The only downside is that there is no case. I am using a case from an old set but it doesn't quite handle this set. This is a problem for job site bits because losing them is already pretty easy to do.
