These tools are precise and do exactly what you want them to do. Had them for 6 years with not a single problem. Need 4 batteries if you keep the tools busy all day. Sawzall is fine for limited demo but it eats the batteries up fast. Great tools to use on the jobsite. Wish the drill had a variable speed trigger.

I did a *lot* of research before buying this kit or buying individual pieces. The kit just came in the mail, and everything seems to be very well-constructed and sturdy (except for one thing). Also everything looks new or nearly new un-used. This kit is [$] and the Impactor (other high-quality impacts as well) alone sells new for ~$250. The drill is not nearly as nice as my XRP Dewalt, but that's not really a fair comparison being in different classes (and it's still powerful and well-built). Reciprocating saw is very very nice and high-quality/sturdy (love the quick-change blades). The Impactor is the champion of the kit. The light is very bright and a swiveling head is nice, but needs more tension. Now the only exception for quality...and that is the lower guard on the circular saw. All the saws I've owned in the past had a very sturdy lower guard. This one is very flimsy and wobbly. As a side note though, the circular saw itself is great.

When my old(12yrs) 24 volt Bosch drill and saw started slowing down, I looked for a replacement. I saw this reconditioned kit at CPOTools and figured it would be a good deal if some of the tools worked okay. I was very surprised, everything worked extreemly well. I just fnished remodeling the bathroom, all I used,besides a hammer and prybar, were the tools in this kit. THe impact driver sent three inch screws through studs with little effort, the recip saw took out furdowns and studs, thecircular saw cut everything precisely, and although I never thought I would need it, the flashlight helped me while the power was off while I restrung wires. It exceeded my expectations. Battery run time was excellent. Recharge times were fast. I had to acquire a hammerdrill through other sources for drilling into concrete, but that's a small thing. Everything looked almost brand new out of the box, not so much now.
Now on to the kitchen...
