I use this drill for bolting sport climbing routes outside and usually high off the ground. this drill is light and powerful and has suddenly made drilling bolt holes, while hanging off a cliff, very easy.

I am a professional sign maker & installer. I've used this beauty to attach letters & signs to walls made of concrete, brick, cinderblock; even used it to drill through 6" of BLACKTOP. Yah, blacktop. I made a guide & drilled a series of 1" holes in a circle then broke out the center...& dug the dirt out of the hole! When up on ladders & planks, I love not having to worry about cords. A top notch tool. Paid for itself after the first 3 uses.

This last job was at a military barracks where the wall outlets were all blocked by furniture. I'm only drilling 5/32nd holes for Tapcon's so I bought this cordless rotary hammer to speed up production and relieve headache, un-freeking-real. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. I got around 300 holes x 2" deep per battery charge, and I'm certain that some will say, "Battery Stamina Is Definitely Suspect!". To them I would say, "Cop A Clue... It's a cordless. What were you expecting? You were hoping to drill 1/2" holes 10 inches deep into pre-stressed concrete and you could only get six per charge. That isn't what this is meant for."
It weighs about the same as the bulldog even though it runs on battery (not to mention the added weight of an extension cord pulling at you constantly). It had to be half as loud as the bulldog. It does spit out the same amount of concrete dust as the bulldog, but isn't that what it is supposed to do?
I only drill over my head, and this is a Godsend. If you are looking to drill lots of 3/8" or larger holes more than 4 inches deep, stick to corded units with more power. For 1/4" or smaller I'll be making my Bulldog my backup and this just moved into my top spot. I just drilled over 2,000 holes in the last building and I have 8 more building to go by next month... but it just got easier :-)

This drill is ultra light and very fast. I work on high cliffs where weight and speed is an issue. I would recommend this drill to anyone. It will drill a ¾ " hole 3 ½ " deep in aged concrete in less than 1 minute. That is amazing!
