I used this baby to clean up my heavily wooded lot after the snow storm we had this past October. I bought it at an outlet for 30% off and did a job myself that was quoted to me at $500. Great tool!!!

Comments about Black & Decker 4.5 Amp Corded Alligator Lopper:
Because of power requirement, setup and cleanup must be done. Nice unit... OK for older people to use. Does the job but be careful on a ladder. No matter what, wear those eye protection devices. Sometimes, I wear a full face shield.

Comments about Black & Decker 4.5 Amp Corded Alligator Lopper:
Living in Florida and preparing for Hurricane Wilma a few years ago, I bought this tool on a whim. "Jaws", as I call this tool, did more cleanup work, faster, than any chain saw I ever owned, & did it safer (you need 2 hands to operate it so you can't get your hand near the chain). It was maintenance free until I recently wore out the chain guard after many (uncountable)hundreds of cuts. I bought a backup Jaws, & I have only $15 worth of parts on order to fix the first one. Motor and Chain are still good.
Recently I bought a 18V Cordless Jaws for more convenience.
Not for use cutting vines or small diameter (under 1/2 inch) twigs. This is a chain saw.
Short chain means no significant chain stretch and associated constant adjustments.
I have other saws, but my friends borrow this one.
