I use this product to trim trees around my yard and farm.I thought about the battery powered one but I have a little generator on my trailor witch works better than having to change out batterys and running out half way threw the job.makes ease out of using a hand saw!

With over 1,000 White & Red Pines that my wife and I planted over 25 years ago on our 10 acres, we needed a small powerful saw to be able to trim the lower branches. Something handy, lightweight and small that we could plug into the 1,000 watt power inverter that I installed on the rear of our ATV.
The Black & Decker, LP1000 4.5 Amp 6-in Electric Alligator Loppers exceeded all our expectations. The safety switches and the safety jaws give my wife and I a feeling of security. And as for being able to trim the trees? This unit is a Miniature Work Horse. Worth every penny we spent on it ! ! !
