The leaf season hasn't started yet, so I tested this on some of last year's crop. It works well. Read a lot of reviews of a lot of brands before I bought this one, and many of them get bad reviews for flimsy bags and zippers. This one looks like it is fairly durable. Time will tell how well it will hold up. Read a lot comments about metal vs plastic impellers too. This one is metal - that was one of my requirements for a mulcher. I have bought several reconditioned tools from CPO in the past and have never been dissapointed. This is the first leaf vac/mulcher I've had, but do have a Black and Decker leaf blower that is at least 15 years old. It shows no signs of aging yet. If this one is as good, I will be totally happy. Price was great too.

well designed unit,refurbished not distinguished from new. better quality than the troy bilt that it replaces. metal fan blade stronger than my previous blower/vac with a plastic blade which is worn down from light use. this unit is easy to use and change from blower to vacuum use. always a good value from CPO outlets.

When I ordered this particular Leaf Blower, I thought that I was ordering a gas-powered model. When I opened the box, and saw that it was an electric model, I thought; "that was a dumb mistake". I decided that I would plug it in and try it out before sending it back and I was pleasently surprised. It's very powerful and put my old gas-powered model to shame. Plus, no more hassle of mixing the gas and oil anymore. In short, I'm glad that I made the mistake by ordering the electric model. It works great!!

Using the product to 1) blow grass clippings off sidewalk 2)Vacuum seeds and corn kernels from beneath back yard feeders. Plan to use it to clear yard of leaves in the fall.
Would be helpful if there were extra handles built in the extensions for easier control. The unit is light enough and a man my size can handle it. (6'1" and 225 lbs) The electric cord (100 ft) I use is heavier than the unit.
The unit is a little loud.
