Comments about 18V Cordless 8-in Chain Saw:
I bought this chainsaw with the intention of touching up a 1/4 acre lot with a couple of trees and a large woody stemmed cactus. Less than one hour later, I wish I had more to cut. This is an extremely lightweight and compact saw that hardly makes any noise. The design isn't especially lefty friendly for two hand use as your right hand will be crossing over your left to reach the support handle. However it is light enough that one handed use as a lefty is fairly easy, all safety concerns aside. Disregarding ergonomics, this is most definitely a highly convenient tool for round the yard duty.

use it for what it is intended and you will be very happy.
No gas, no pull start, light weight and easy to use - just grab and go.
If heavy usage is probable - get a spare battery, otherwise - doo some today, charge and do the rest tomorrow.

This is perfect if you have other compatible B&D 18v tools. I did and it gave me three batteries to work with. Each one lasts about 30 min. If you are cutting branches 2-3 inches or less, this is the tools for you. I've cut several 6-8 in. but a gas powered chainsaw would be a better choice if that's your primary use. I love it. It's light-weight and I can carry it anywhere on my 10 acres without any trouble.
