RE: Bench Dog 40-001 ProTop: Description says "fence converts to vertical jointer" but manual says nothing about that. How does that work? Thanks.

The fence has built-in jointing slots to accept the (2) small aluminum
jointer bars that shipped with your router table. Installed in pairs, these
bars "shim out" the out feed subfence either 1/32" or 5/64" (2mm).

    • A:

When you purchased this table, you received 2 small aluminum parallels which can be inserted behind the fence you are pushing the material toward. These parallels are not square but rather rectangular, so be careful to put the pieces in correctly. The taller sides are for a rough cut and the shorter sides will then be for your finish pass.
